‘LG CNS IT Dream Project’, starting from 2008, has been provided scholarship and opportunity to go on an overseas field trip for the youth. LG CNS is planning to develop associate programs where the executives and employees can participate together with talented students to seek a way to realize their future dream, which will be the real living social contribution.
The emblem of ‘LG CNS IT Dream Project’ stands for bright and dynamic youth full of happiness and hope with dreams on IT toward the world and the future. Overall color of the emblem is warm. Pink represents youth and heroes of the future. Also using yellow, red and light green together shows our wish that our children can realize their colorful dream through IT.



In the 3rd ‘LG CNS IT Dream Project’ in 2010, total 320 children were enrolled, showing a high competition record of 14:1. Through various IT project plans and interviews, a total of 45 students were selected, including thirty students for IT scholarships and fifteen students for overseas field trips.

The scholarship award ceremony was held in the main auditorium at the LG CNS headquarters, where students were awarded scholarship for IT certification and received a certificate for a 10-day overseas field trip in India including Bangaluru, Hindupur and Delhi with full overseas field trip expenses.

Students of overseas field trip visited Infosys Technologies, a global IT service company in India, and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), the best postgraduate university in the science field in India, where they faced global IT frontline and met local IT specialists. Also, through various cultural exchange activities such as voluntary service to create IT study rooms for socially and financially disadvantaged local children, home-staying, and Korea culture festivals. Such experiences encouraged them to be global IT specialists in the future.

Students who went to India through the 3rd LG CNS IT Dream Project had a photo exhibition about their journey in India and published an essay book, “IT Dream Project goes to India” which contains their diaries and pictorial photos during their journey to India.



The 2nd ‘LG CNS IT Dream Project’ in 2009 selected total 55 students, including 40 scholarship students and 15 overseas field trip students through the 1st test based on their IT project plans, recommendation letters and the 2nd interview test.

At the scholarship award ceremony held in the main auditorium at the LG CNS headquarters, where 40 IT special students were awarded scholarships for IT certification and 15 students selected for overseas field trip to India, a leading IT country.

The 15 students for the overseas field trip students had various experiences including voluntary service and cultural exchange, traveling to IT industry hubs such as Bangaluru and Hindupur for 9 nights and 10 days.

With pictures of India, which the students had taken by themselves in India, we had the 2nd ‘LG CNS IT Dream Project’ - India Photo Exhibition, titled 'Dream Maker goes to India’. In addition, a photo essay book,
, which presents student's point of view of a leading IT country, was published.



The 1st ‘LG CNT IT Dream Project’ in 2008 conducted a contest under the title of ‘My Dream, My Vision and My Future’ with 3200 high school and university students who were lived in children welfare centers.
From the large group that showing great interest and participation, we selected final 40 students through the 1st paper review based on IT project plans, recommendation letters and the 2nd interview test.

The final 30 high school students were awarded IT scholarships to obtain IT certification. Also 10 university students received a certificate to visit U.S.A. including leading IT companies in Silicon Valley during their summer vacation.

The 10 university students of overseas field trip experienced advanced IT technology in Silicon Valley, U.S.A., by visiting Stanford University, Intel, Sun Microsystems, Sysco, etc.
