LG CNS hosted the inaugural ceremony of its new CEO Dae-hoon Kim as well as the opening
ceremony for the year 2010 in the morning of January 4th at the auditorium of its head office at
Heohyeon-dong, Seoul.
In his inaugural speech on the theme of “Hope and Future of LG CNS”, CEO Kim said, “A company
with dream will last long and grow continuously. I will become CEO who will work together with all
the LG CNS employees to realize our dream.”
He also took the global financial crisis as an example saying, “Instead of focusing on short-term
achievements, we must prepare for business areas and base technologies that will bring practical
values to customers in five or ten years. We also must be prepared to select and develop
promising areas for the future.”
In his inaugural speech, CEO Kim presented “creating value for customers” and “jeong-do
(righteous) management” based on LG WAY as management keywords, and asked all the
employees to work together for successful 2010 and join the efforts to realize their dream.
As a leading IT solution provider, LG CNS broadcast the event live on the Internet to involve
customers and LG CNS employees working on project sites. About 7,000 employees of LG CNS
could participate in the inaugural ceremony without moving away from their desks, and interactive
communication was also available.
