We provided IT consulting services on the IT modernization business. There were four IT strategic directions, which were 'Quality of Tax Information', 'Taxpayer Service Excellence', 'Intelligent & integrated Business', 'Flexible Infrastructures' and all IT modernization services were integrated in terms of EA-based IT governance.

- There were needs of IT modernization to secure revenue for sound public finance by identifying hidden tax sources on the underground economy, to promote tax payer-focused preemptive and proactive services and to innovate the existing tax information system which prevented advanced tax management due to huge maintenance cost and management difficulty.
- Establishment of integrated IT governance system was required with reviewing internal business and taxpayer service, data analysis and infrastructure transition from the point of EA view.
- BPM Introduction: Seamless business process has been established by standardized business automation.
- Business Portal established: User experience (UX)-based portal is established which integrates various business systems and provides services by function and thus business efficiency is enhanced.
- For integrated management of taxpayer's information and exploration of optimal service for each taxpayer, CRM has been introduced, while MCI has been introduced for bulk process on information from various channels such as phone, wired and wireless internet and in-person counter visit.

- BI/DM/DW establishment for systemic retention and analysis of huge amount of data enhances research business and makes link with geographic information service, which becomes a foundation to explore various new service (mash-up).
- By transition of current close mainframe to UNIX-based open architecture and clustering and virtualization of servers, operation efficiency is improved.
