  • Ground Tactics C4I System(ATCIS)
    By establishing command and control system under the Korea corps level which performs a mission of 'preemptively see, determine and attach' with real-time synchronization of monitoring and strike systems for realizing network centered warfare (NCW) concepts, real-time battlefield visualization and operation of integrated fighting power are ensured, which creates great information superiority and fighting power synergy.

Service Offering

- For national security as one of a few divided nations in the world, there is a desperate need for digital army which can perform command and control based on network-centered warfare (NCW) of modern and future warfare types with individual system on the past platform.

- To provide NCW-based command and control capacity, major requirements for system include reflection on concept of ground warfare operation, immediate identification of real-time situation on tactical units and real-time attack support with simultaneous use of monitoring and strike measures. Also it requires a highly mobile system of operation considering frequent moving commander office of tactic units and easy extension with open system considering interoperationability and standardization.

How We Helped

- Ground tactic C41 system is a large scale multiple information system composed of a total of 7,000 pieces of equipment in 64 types including general use server and laptop, military-exclusive device, national defense equipment and decoding equipment, and large scale SW on development and SW on use.

Development SW is divided into application SW for mission performance such as information, operation, fire force, relocation and landing and common SW which provides common functions such as situation diagram management, message process, image process, administrative support and system management.

LG CNS provides system application consulting for a vast range of equipment and complicated operation and key capacity for system integration and linkage with other systems.

Differentiated Service for Customer

- Under a situation that major advanced military countries restrict outflow of their technology classified as key technology into overseas, LG CNS developed and established the first national large scale multiple information system, ATCIS, with a pure domestic technique at 1/4 cost of introduction from overseas.

- LG CNS contributes to enhancement of fight force of Korea Army and Marine Corps through successful performance on the all phrases in compliance with defense acquisition regulations including prior investigation, exploratory development and system development and with great efforts for 6 years.
