  • Establish PI/ERP for Hanwha Chemical
    It was a management innovative project to maximize company efficiency and productivity by achieving PI for dramatic improvement of current work performance and then by reconstructing a system which can embed it with internationally proven SAP ERP system.

Hanwha Chemical had no choice but taking extension strategy to global and new business to achieve 9 trillion in sales and 1.2 trillion in operation income by 2015. Transition to higher level of management system was required to support the strategy effectively.

How We Helped

- Overview: In addition to replacement of current Oracle ERP, linkage between 22 unit systems for whole company business including sales and product planning and profit simulation and relevant systems have been configured together with Big Bang approach.

- Business process innovation: Based on improvement needs by business field and ERP best practices, Top 10 PI task were selected and enterprise-level improvement was driven by front-line staff on the field, which contributed to optimal process design and early settlement after ERP construction.

- System construction: SAP ERP system including BI and old backbone systems including 4 portal systems were undergone comprehensive replacement focusing on ERP and organized system link with existing systems was established.

By eliminating any process which cannot create value via frontline-initiative PI implementation, changing atypical processes to agile optimal processes, and reconstructing a system which can contain these to internationally proven SAP ERP system, we established foundation of advanced management system with entire transition of management system rather than simple system change.
