LG CNS is raising the level of Korea’s DX by implementing mobile ID card for public service workers and mobile driver’s licenses with blockchain technology to prevent forgery and falsification.

In addition to the ability to access government buildings in Sejong and Seoul, the mobile ID card can log in to the business system. Various certificates, such as employment certificates, can also be issued, and books can be borrowed from the National Sejong Library. LG CNS is also conducting a mobile driver’s license business, creating a blockchain-based digital identity authentication ecosystem.

LG CNS, along with commercial banks,
is taking the lead in changing the digital financial market in line with the upcoming digital currency era.

In order to preemptively prepare for technological changes expected in the issuance of the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), LG CNS has built a pilot digital currency platform with commercial banks. related to digital currency issuance, distribution, and settlement.

LG CNS is accelerating the era of eco-friendliness by implementing a system to manage the distribution history of waste batteries for electric vehicles.

Data from detailed information such as specifications and production date of waste batteries to distribution history such as warehousing, inspection, and shipment are recorded on the blockchain. All data recorded on the blockchain are shared in real time with all stakeholders, such as local governments, scrap car companies, waste battery centers, distributors, and purchasing customers. Accurate history management enables accurate prediction of the remaining battery usage time, allowing trade with confidence.
