FAQ

  • Entry-level employees are recruited from upcoming graduates and those who have already graduated, and applicants must meet the graduation and joining date requirements for each posting. Experienced professionals are recruited from applicants with at least two years of relevant experience in the field they are applying for.

There are no restrictions based on major, GPA, English test scores, age, gender, or other similar factors. Some postings may give preference to IT-related majors, but this is not mandatory, and anyone with passion for IT is welcome to apply.

Applicants must also have completed or be exempt from military service and have no restrictions on overseas travel.

  • Please describe in detail what experience, skills, or interest you have in the role or field you are applying for. It is also helpful to include your growth and career goals at LG CNS after joining the company.

  • Given the rapidly changing nature of the IT industry, technical capabilities are important for entry-level employees, but so are the willingness to keep learning and growing in IT, as well as interest and passion for the field they are applying for.

For master’s and doctoral applicants, as well as experienced professionals, we review the relevance between the field applied for and their major, research experience, or work experience, as well as how it can be applied or utilized in the future. Across all roles, we are looking for people who communicate proactively and are open to new attempts and challenges.

  • If you are currently in the selection process for another posting, you cannot apply for multiple positions. However, after the selection process has ended, including in the case of rejection, you may reapply for the same posting or apply for another posting.

  • For entry-level employees, the confirmation letter is automatically sent to the applicant’s personal email address within five days after the selection stage.

For experienced professionals, confirmation letters are issued individually upon request to recruit@lgcns.com.

  • The written test consists of three main parts: the personality and aptitude test, which is common to all applicants, the coding test for bachelor’s degree applicants, and the task analysis test for Data/AI master’s degree applicants.

The personality and aptitude test evaluates how well the applicant fits with LG CNS.

The coding test evaluates basic programming implementation skills, as well as algorithms for logical thinking and mathematical problem-solving. Applicants can choose one language from Java, C, C#, and Python.

The task analysis test for master’s degree applicants in Data/AI requires applicants to complete a machine learning or deep learning analysis task using R or Python.

  • The internship is operated as a recruitment-linked program and takes place for about two months in the department where the applicant will work after final employment.

By working in the actual department, interns can understand the field and experience the company and team culture. During the internship, onboarding training and team-building activities with fellow interns are also provided.
