LG CNS (CEO: Shin Gyoon Hyun, 064400) has been named the “Google Cloud Partner of the Year 2026” for Korea at the Google Cloud Partner Awards, reaffirming its differentiated capabilities in AI Transformation (AX).
The awards were presented at Google Cloud Next 2026, Google Cloud’s flagship annual event that brings together global cloud and AI industry stakeholders to share innovations and achievements.
The Google Cloud Partner of the Year Award is granted to companies that collaborate with Google Cloud to deliver new business value to customers and achieve outstanding business performance. LG CNS was selected as the sole representative partner for Korea, in recognition of its AI and cloud technology capabilities, business execution, customer outcomes, and contribution to growth.
This marks LG CNS’s third recognition at the Google Cloud Partner Awards, following dual wins in the Service and Sales Partner categories in 2023 and a Service Partner award in 2024, further demonstrating its competitiveness in AI and cloud. Google Cloud selects award recipients annually across multiple categories, including country-level Partner of the Year, AI, data analytics, infrastructure modernization, and security.
LG CNS has delivered notable results by building hundreds of generative AI services across industries—including manufacturing, finance, retail, telecommunications, and the public sector—leveraging Google’s generative AI model Gemini and enterprise AI platform Vertex AI. In particular, LG CNS has been co-developing enterprise AI business models based on Gemini with Google Cloud, supporting enterprise-wide AX innovation for customers in the Asia-Pacific and the Americas.
In the healthcare and bio sectors, LG CNS is conducting AI-based R&D projects, including AI agents, genomic data analysis, and AI-driven drug discovery services based on protein structure prediction.
The company also supports the adoption of AI solutions such as Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace to enhance workplace productivity for its clients.
The partnership between the two companies began in September 2022, when LG CNS became the first Korean company to sign a Digital Transformation Partnership (DTP) agreement at Google Cloud headquarters in the United States. In August 2023, the two companies’ CEOs met at Google Cloud Next 2023 to expand collaboration in generative AI. At Google Cloud Next 2025, they agreed to jointly expand AX business initiatives across the Asia-Pacific and the Americas. Since 2020, LG CNS has maintained its status as a Google Cloud Premier Partner, the highest partner tier.
These achievements are underpinned by LG CNS’s technical and business capabilities leveraging Google Cloud. The company holds six Google Cloud Competencies across areas including Gemini Enterprise AI, data analytics, and infrastructure.
The Gemini Enterprise competency, newly obtained this year, is awarded to partners capable of designing and building agentic AI services using Gemini Enterprise. LG CNS previously became the first company in Asia to acquire Google Cloud’s AI competency in 2024.
