LG CNS, a leading Korean IT services company, participated in “Japan IT Week,” the largest IT exhibition in Japan, held at Tokyo Big Sight from April 8 to 10, 2026, where it introduced its solutions “PerfecTwin Standard Edition” and “PerfecTwin ERP Edition.”

LG CNS provides customized enterprise services across various sectors—including finance, public, manufacturing, and logistics—based on its IT capabilities in AI, cloud, and system integration (SI).

PerfecTwin is LG CNS’s test automation solution that identifies errors in advance before launching new IT systems. It helps enhance system stability and quality while preventing failures and defects. At this exhibition, LG CNS unveiled two versions of PerfecTwin, marking the full-scale expansion of its strategy to target Japan’s financial and manufacturing DX (Digital Transformation) markets.

■ ‘PerfecTwin Standard Edition’: Achieving Defect-Free System Launch Using Real Transaction Data

PerfecTwin Standard Edition is a test automation solution used for next-generation system transitions in the financial sector and cloud migrations. Unlike conventional manual verification methods that rely on small sample datasets, it performs validation based on large volumes of real transaction data. By simulating actual data values and functions from legacy systems in new systems, it can identify system errors and potential defects with up to 99.99% accuracy.

■ ‘PerfecTwin ERP Edition’: AI-Based Test Automation Solution Specialized for SAP ERP

PerfecTwin ERP Edition is a SAP-focused test automation solution used when migrating legacy ERP systems—such as SAP ECC or Oracle—to next-generation ERP platforms like SAP S/4HANA. Like the Standard Edition, it conducts testing using real transaction data from existing ERP systems.

The ERP Edition significantly enhances automation through AI. Tasks that were previously performed manually—such as generating test scenarios, writing validation reports, and creating operational manuals—are now automated by AI, providing improved usability and efficiency.

Designed based on SAP system operating mechanisms, PerfecTwin ERP Edition enables non-experts business users to directly design test scenarios. Leveraging these strengths, it delivers testing speeds up to 50 times faster than conventional ERP migration solutions.

Japanese food manufacturer Otafuku Sauce is utilizing PerfecTwin ERP Edition in its SAP S/4HANA migration. By validating system stability in advance using several months of real transaction data, the company minimized migration risks by proactively identifying potential system errors.

Currently, Japanese companies are accelerating the migration of their core systems to cloud-native platforms and transitioning their ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA. With SAP ECC maintenance support ending at the end of 2027, investments in DX and core system advancement are increasing, driving higher demand for precise and efficient test solutions.

Meanwhile, LG CNS continues to strengthen its collaboration with SAP through a close partnership. In 2025, it became the first Korean company to join SAP Asia Pacific’s Regional Strategic Services Partner (RSSP) initiative and has participated in SAP Sapphire 2024 and 2025, introducing PerfecTwin to global clients.

■ Expanding Financial Sector Business Through Reseller Partnership with a Hitachi Group IT Company

To accelerate the expansion of its PerfecTwin business in Japan, LG CNS has signed a reseller partnership with Hitachi Solutions Create (HSC), an IT services company under the Hitachi Group. By combining HSC’s strong customer network in the financial industry—including securities, banking, and insurance—with LG CNS’s DX technologies, the partnership aims to create new business opportunities in Japan’s financial market.

PerfecTwin demonstrates optimal performance in financial and public sector systems and has already proven its capabilities through system migration projects for over 150 financial institutions and public organizations in Korea.
