LG CNS showcases AI-Enhanced ‘PerfecTwin ERP Edition’ in the U.S. at SAP Sapphire 2025
■ Introduces new PerfecTwin ERP Edition with AI capabilities such as real transaction data generation for testing and automated removal of sensitive information ■ Expands collaboration plans with SAP to provide technical enhanced services for cloud ERP advancement ■ Plans to establish ERP delivery center in India to expand global ERP operations ■ CEO Shin Gyoon Hyun joins SAP Sapphire panel session for the second consecutive year to discuss ERP innovation LG CNS, a leading AI transformation (AX) company in Korea, unveiled its latest AI-based ERP testing technology at SAP Sapphire 2025, SAP’s annual global conference held in Orlando, Florida. SAP Sapphire brings together industry leaders, customers and partners from around the world to explore the latest tech nologies and innovations powered by SAP. At this year’s event, the LG CNS booth showcased the new AI-enhanced version of the company’s PerfecTwin ERP Edition, an advanced testing solution based on real transaction data that was introduced at Sapphire 2024. Designed for SAP ERP environments, the solution helps companies ensure smooth data transfers and minimize errors by testing transactional data—such as finance, procurement, and HR—in a virtual environment identical to the new system. By repeatedly verifying real transaction data, it enables near-zero defects upon system implementation or upgrades. The latest edition’s AI features generate real transaction test data when the volume of actual data is insufficient. They also ensure privacy and security by identifying and removing sensitive information, such as user data. Additionally, the AI analyzes error patterns and traces root causes to significantly reduce test validation time. LG CNS is a long-time SAP partner offering ERP expertise to enterprise clients. At the event in Orlando, LG CNS and SAP expanded their collaboration to provide clients with a comprehensive set of services to accelerate their transformation to cloud ERP. These services provided by LG CNS include application operations, release version upgrades, application security updates and SAP Business Technology Platform core operations. In addition, LG CNS plans to expand the target countries for these services to the Asia-Pacific and Japan regions and beyond, based on the maturity of the services. This includes the establishment of a delivery center in India later this year to support the global expansion of its ERP operations. Shin Gyoon Hyun, CEO of LG CNS, participated in the SAP Sapphire panel discussion for the second year in a row, sharing insights on cloud ERP transformation, customer success stories, and innovative digital transformation cases. Since establishing joint collaboration plans at SAP’s headquarters in Germany in 2023, LG CNS has continued to strengthen its collaboration to drive innovation in cloud ERP services. Earlier this year, the company became the first from Korea to join SAP’s Regional Strategic Services Partner (RSSP) initiative for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The RSSP initiative enables LG CNS to scale its SAP practice quickly across the APAC region and work more closely with SAP to deliver joint customer success. “Through continued collaboration with SAP, LG CNS will further strengthen its technical expertise and competitiveness in ERP and continue to support innovation for global clients,” said Hanshin Nae, Senior Vice President of LG CNS Enterprise Solutions Division. [Photo] Managers from LG CNS’s Enterprise Solution Division explain the ‘PerfecTwin ERP Edition’ to visitors at the SAP Sapphire booth [Photo] LG CNS CEO Shin Gyoon Hyun speaking during a panel discussion at SAP Sapphire [Photo] LG CNS booth at SAP Sapphire 2025

LG CNS Partners with NYCEDC to Bring Advanced Technologies and EV Charging to Brooklyn Army Terminal
LG CNS Partners with NYCEDC to Bring Advanced Technologies and EV Charging to Brooklyn Army Terminal
LG CNS, a leading AX (AI Transformation) company in Korea, is continuing to take bold steps toward becoming a leading smart city in the United States in collaboration with New York City. The global technology giant is investing in the city by installing state-of-the-art electric vehicle (EV) chargers at the Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT) and partners with Matcha, a Boston-based startup developing EV charging solutions, to make sustainable transportation more accessible for New Yorkers. Installation is already completed, and EV chargers are available from now through December 2025. As part of this initiative, LG CNS is developing a cutting-edge mobile app that will provide real-time information on EV charging availability, and other essential data to improve urban mobility. This app will serve as a valuable tool for residents and visitors alike, enhancing the convenience and efficiency of electric vehicle use in the city. The installation of EV chargers at the Brooklyn Army Terminal marks just the beginning of LG CNS’s engagement with New York. With a long-term vision to support green energy and digital transformation, LG CNS is playing a crucial role in shaping the future of the city. This collaboration between NYC and LG CNS represents a significant investment in both infrastructure and technology, positioning the city at the forefront of the smart city revolution. Beyond EV infrastructure, LG CNS is committed to leveraging its advanced technologies to help New York City become an IT leader in the United States. The company is exploring innovations in artificial intelligence, smart surveillance, and data-driven urban solutions to support NYC’s modernization efforts. By integrating these technologies, LG CNS aims to improve citywide efficiency, safety, and sustainability. LG CNS is also planning to install Energy Storage Systems (ESS) to help stabilize NYC’s electricity market. By implementing ESS solutions, LG CNS aims to enhance the city’s energy resilience, improve grid efficiency, and support the transition to more sustainable power sources. LG CNS will join New York City Economic Development Corporation’s (NYCEDC) next cohort of Pilots at BAT, a program that allows companies to test and scale their innovative technologies in live environments. Due to the success of the initial Pilots at BAT cohorts, the program is expanding to NYCEDC’s MADE Bush Terminal in Sunset Park. NYCEDC’s Sunset Park District provides over 200 acres of waterfront space in Brooklyn to support emerging climate solutions in key green economy sectors like resiliency, mobility and buildings. In October 2023, Mayor Adams signed a Memorandum of Understanding with LG CNS CEO Shin-Gyoon Hyun and James Kim, Chairman and CEO of the American Chamber of Commerce in Korea. This agreement aims to encourage substantial Korean investments in New York City. LG CNS Brings Smart City Innovation to Hogansville, Georgia
LG CNS Brings Smart City Innovation to Hogansville, Georgia
■ Signed contract with the City of Hogansville for the deployment of smart poles and an integrated control system ■ Application of LG CNS’s proprietary smart city platform, Cityhub Building, for system management ■ Installation of IoT features and emergency call buttons to improve citizen convenience and public safety LG CNS, a leading AX (AI Transformation) company in Korea, signed its first official contract with a U.S. government agency to build smart city infrastructure in Hogansville, Georgia. This agreement calls for LG CNS to install smart poles and an integrated control system, leveraging its leadership in AI transformation, to enhance public safety, connectivity, and urban operations in the city. The project begins with the installation of smart poles and related infrastructure in downtown Hogansville and city parks. Smart poles add intelligence to a city’s urban infrastructure by combining traditional street and traffic lights with advanced IoT technology. Each pole will be equipped with features such as lighting control, public Wi-Fi, CCTV, and environmental sensors. These capabilities will support real-time monitoring of traffic conditions and public safety, while also collecting valuable urban data. The control system managing these poles will be operated through LG CNS’s proprietary smart city platform, Cityhub Building. In addition to core IoT features, LG CNS will install electric vehicle chargers, digital signage, and emergency call buttons to the smart poles. These buttons will be connected to emergency services like the local police to enable first responders to act quickly in critical situations. These elements also offer greater convenience for residents and significantly strengthen public safety across the city. LG CNS plans to build on the project by expanding its smart city initiatives to nearby cities in Georgia, including LaGrange and West Point. Recognized as a leader in smart city innovation, LG CNS brings extensive experience in developing and deploying smart city solutions in Korea and around the world. Among other projects, the company provided design consulting for a major smart city development in Indonesia called Nusantara, which is slated to be that country’s new capital. LG CNS is taking part in two large-scale pilot projects in Korea, including Sejong Smart City, valued at approximately 3.2 trillion Korean won, and the Busan Eco Delta Smart City, valued at around 5.4 trillion won. Both projects are being carried out through consortiums. “Smart infrastructure is essential to accelerating city development, improving operational efficiency, strengthening public safety, and enhancing the daily lives of residents,” said Shin-Gyoon Hyun, CEO of LG CNS. “LG CNS will work closely with the City of Hogansville, drawing on our proven smart city experience in Korea and across the Asia-Pacific region, to help build a more sustainable and livable urban environment.”[Photo] AI-generated conceptual image of the LG CNS smart pole to be installed in Hogansville
